our written evidence is cited in the public accounts committee’s report addressing the uk’s central management of weather-related risks when it recommends that the “cabinet office should set out clear roles, responsibilities, and guidance for citizens, the third sector, the public sector and the private sector on prevention and preparedness for national risks, and how this links with the roles and responsibilities of central and local government”.
